I've literally been coming here with my family since I was 6 months old. So many childhood memories! My parents continue to get a place each summer and invite me, my siblings, and our wives and we still have a great time! I'm 27 now, and my wife and I just reserved an ocean front room for our upcoming wedding anniversary in October and we are so excited! We had a recent stay this week with my parents since they did their annual Cape May vacation. I wanted to make sure to leave a good review in these COVID19 times! The suites are spacious (good for keeping distance from each other!), and very clean! Bedding and towels were provided and also clean. They used to do full maid service each day, but for right now they just replace towels and take trash out, which is totally fine. We chatted with one of the maids (she's been working there almost as long as we have been staying there!) and she said they do a bigger clean between guests checking in/out. Limits contact and makes sure everything is totally clean between parties, so makes sense to me! Can't beat the view and distance from the beach and the town! They prices are great for all that you get, especially compared to other hotels. Checked prices at other places for our October stay, and most places were just a room with a bathroom and maybe a kitchenette if you're lucky for over $250/night, in October! Crazy. But here it's 2 bedroom, bathroom (sometimes 2 bathrooms depending), living room, FULL kitchen, balcony, and an oceanfront was just $170 a night! Absolutely great deal! Summer Station is a fantastic hidden gem (doesn't come up on many Cape May hotel searches, and I think that's saving it from going sideways, honestly) and I'm looking forward to coming here for many more years to come!

Many positives: on the ocean excellent location, 2 beds and 2 baths which is great for a family, full kitchen is awesome and washer and dryer takes it to another level - basically a full apartment on the beach which is amazing, don’t hear noise from neighbors. Other guests seemed respectful and quiet, not a party hotel which is good for me, staff very nice. Cons: WiFi doesn’t work well you have to find spots in the room for it to work, when they have it - music next door at rusty nail can be loud, lights in hallways outside windows on all night, furniture very old fashioned and worn, no full maid service due to COVID so sand and food on floor and needed vacuum. Also only one TV for whole place, should have TVs in bedrooms also so kids can watch different shows than adults. Overall I was extremely happy with my stay and this hotel.
